[0052] celle qu'on dit qu'elle brûle

This day really got away from me; hopefully the night can be a full one to make up for it. It's just still so goddamn cold that the world feels like it's holding its breath and we can all resume once we're on the other side of things, but I only get so many days off, world!

3. Have you ever been in a lighthouse?

I don't... believe so? I think lighthouse-adjacent is the closest I've ever been. Have absolutely fantasized about living in one many a time over the years, though.

Wikipedia Sez: L'eau rouge (French for The Red Water) is the second album by industrial band The Young Gods, released in September 1989 by Play It Again Sam Records. It is usually referred to as their masterpiece and was included in 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die in 2005 (you don't say...).

Prior Familiarity: Again, none whatsoever!

What I Did While Listening: Sorted some mail, started dumping all of the D&D sourcebooks that came out in 2021 into Evernote so I can just frantically search my notes for shit forever instead of actually ever reading them, cleaned off the shelves in the corner of my room to serve as a little fitness nook for all the accessories I've been buying in my latest attempt at regular physical activity (over a month into the new year and still trucking along at least!).

Verdict: I really vacillated a lot on this one, swinging wildly between just digging the headbanging vibes and thinking 'oh wow, this is a nightmare' throughout. That was probably the point? I think it does the thing that it sets out to do VERY well.

Favourite Song: Charlotte; creepy French circus nonsense noises!
